Opportunity to support the development of Barnsley's Cultural Strategy
Barnsley Council are looking to appoint an experienced individual or organisation to work with the Project team and partners across the Borough to develop Phase 2 of Barnsley's Cultural Strategy.
With a budget of up to £20,000, Barnsley Council are looking for applicants to lead on this piece of work and utilise a number of creative engagement and research methodologies, along with research and findings from Phase 1, to develop a final Cultural Strategy for Barnsley.
The appointed individual or organisation will be:
- Experienced in delivering cultural/heritage/arts strategies for places and localities.
- Able to listen to, engage with and encourage our local communities.
- Someone that thinks outside of the box, having experience and insight in facilitating multifaceted projects that prioritise imagination over habit.
Please note that the Strategy needs to be completed and signed off by Spring 2025.

- Your approach to delivering the work;
- Your relevant experience, including two referees;
- A summary of the costs you would incur;
- A project timetable.
