We offer a range of beautiful venues for your wedding ceremony, from the historic Deer Shelter nestled in the heart of our parklands to the elegant Jacobean-inspired Ballroom. The beautifully landscaped Walled Garden is available for drinks receptions and is the perfect place to begin your celebrations. With many years of experience organising weddings, our expert team can help and advise you at every stage of your planning.

Providing a stunning backdrop for your industrial-style wedding, our unique venue is one of the most characterful and unforgettable event spaces in Yorkshire.

Let us help you plan your perfect day. From your first enquiry through to the day of your wedding, our experienced team will be on hand to ensure your wedding perfectly matches your style and personality.

Our spacious venue is perfect for larger celebrations with family and friends. The space can be partitioned with drapes for a more intimate setting and a ‘grand reveal’ for your evening guests to enjoy. Featuring a bar, staging, and a flexible range of layouts.

What we offer at Elsecar:

• Exclusive use of the Ironworks on the day of your wedding

• Dedicated wedding coordinator

• Experienced team to assist on the day

• The use of Chiavari chairs and tables to seat up to 200 guests

• Use of PA and microphone for speeches, ceremony music, and background music

Important Notice

Please note that the Ironworks and the surrounding site will be undergoing some renovations. Therefore, we will keep you updated on our website. Whilst this is very exciting news for the site, this means we will be unable to offer The Ironworks to hire for weddings, but we will be taking bookings for 2027. Our other wedding venue, Cannon Hall, remains available to hire this year.
