Tell Your Story

LUNG are creating a phone box in which people will be able to listen to short monologues about the lives of the people of Barnsley. To make this happen, we’re looking to talk to as many people as possible who live in Barnsley, to hear the stories we have to tell. We want to create something that honestly reflects, manifests and celebrates Barnsley.

We are looking for:

  • Stories set in a particular place in Barnsley. This could be somewhere personal to you (e.g. a local park, a favourite food spot or a place of worship) or it could be somewhere more well known (e.g. Barnsley Football Club, Barnsley Hospice or Cannon Hall).

  • Stories that are true. The story must be from your own life and from your own perspective.

  • Big and small. our story might be a big moment from your life, or it might be a small, every day event. There's no right or wrong. It’s up to you.

Everyone has a story to tell. We want to hear yours.

You can find out more by downloading this pack.
