Community Toy Swap @ Wentworth Castle Gardens
The Toy Swap is one way that the Wentworth Castle Gardens partnership supports our wider community of Barnsley and surrounding areas with the financial strain of Christmas by offering a sustainable alternative to gift giving.
Visitors bring outgrown toys to swap for new to them toys and are then free to enjoy the gardens for the duration of their visit. Following the event, any remaining toys that have not been given a new home are donated to local charities in time for Christmas.
To allow the Toy Swap to take place we need some toys for the first visitors to swap. If you know anyone who is willing to donate toys that their children have outgrown, we would greatly appreciate them.
