Contribute to a new piece of textile art for Wombwell

Would you like to help make a piece of art celebrating Wombwell?

Artist Izzy Dabiri and community members are making textile art doing just that, and we want your input.

We have set up a suggestion box where you can share your ideas. Find the suggestion box and further information about the project in Wombwell Library (at the front desk).

We are looking for two types of contributions

1) Anyone and everyone from Wombwell - share your thoughts, memories, wishes in the suggestion box. Write a word, a poem, draw a picture, anything you want to say about Wombwell.

2) Are you a carer/parent of a young child in Wombwell - share a message you want to send your child for the future. Again it can be anything, a phrase, a memory, a nickname, whatever you want to say.

We can’t wait to hear from you!

Suggestion Box at Wombwell Library until Jan 27th 2025

It's all part of our ENGAGE / CREATE project, where six creatives are working with our communities to produce new artwork reflecting the stories of Cudworth, Goldthorpe, Hoyland, Penistone, Royston and Wombwell.
